Winter Wonderland

This is what the trees in our backyard all looked like this morning. It did not last long:( By noon, all of the frost had melted off, despite the temperature being barely in the twenties.

Sensible Tip #2

How to get rid of unwanted guests
*Give them a hint- Sometimes this is enough, but most of the time it will just be ignored. If so, you must be prepared to escalate hostilities.
*Stop the party- Do not provide any enjoyable activities. No ball, no shooting, no amateur theatricals. They will go else where in search of a good time.
*Go away yourself- Come up with an engagement of your own that takes you away from home. They can hardly expect to stay if you are not there.

Yummy Recipe

I tried a new recipe yesterday. These peanut butter bars are delicious! Here is the recipe:

1 stick butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup self rising flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Melt butter and peanut butter in a bowl over hot water. Add remaining ingrediants. Stir until blended. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into ssquares. Enjoy! :)
